Liposuction

Liposuction

Even if you are healthy and reasonably fit, you may find that the contours on your body are disproportionate due to localized fat deposits.  Oftentimes, these areas are hereditary traits rather than being due to poor weight control or fitness.  These areas can be reshaped, however, thanks to liposuction (or lipoplasty), which slims and reshapes specific areas of your body by removing any excess fat deposits.  This improves your body’s contours and proportions, and it makes a positive difference to your self-image.  Liposuction is most commonly used on areas such as the thighs, the hips and buttocks, the abdomen and waste, the upper arms, and the back.  This is not a cure for obesity or cellulite; it is simply a way to reduce the fat deposits in certain areas of the body.  Call us to discuss whether liposuction is right for you.
